Dr Jau-Fei Chen was invited to meet with President
of the People’s Republic of China Hu Jintao
r Jau-Fei Chen founded E. Excel International, with the mission of sharing the gifts of health and knowledge with the world, towards fulfilling her vision of a world without diseases. In spreading her message of health, Dr Chen has undertaken an additional responsibility-to help the less privileged. Throughout the years, Dr Chen and E. Excel have constantly extended a helping hand and brought hope to those facing adversity.
Besides organizations such as World Vision International, Mercy Relief, Maria Social Welfare Foundation, the China Disabled People’s Performing Art Troupe is also one of the beneficiaries of E. Excel. The relationship between the China Disabled People’s Performing Art Troupe and Dr Chen and E. Excel goes way back. With invitation and assistance from E. Excel, the China Disabled People’s Performing Art Troupe has brought its splendid performance and exceptional spirit of perseverance to Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan, deeply inspiring the audiences there.
On 3 December 2005, the China Disabled People’s Performing Art Troupe held an extraordinary performance “My Dream” at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, which was broadcasted to over 60 countries worldwide simultaneously. The guests of honor at the show included President of the People’s Republic of China Hu Jintao, Vice-President Zeng Qinghong, and senior Party official Li Changchun. As the long-term partner of the troupe, Dr Chen was also invited as a guest of honor to the show.
Besides the troupe members, Dr Chen was the only guest invited to meet with President Hu Jintao, Vice-President Zeng Qinghong and senior Party official Li Changchun, for her long-term contribution to the troupe and charitable organizations.
